Two Cedar Bluff Men Air-Lifted to Erlanger Following Sunday Afternoon Wreck

Two Cherokee County residents were injured in a single vehicle accident on County Road 58 Sunday afternoon.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that wreck took place at 4:00pm just north of Cedar Bluff and involved a 2000 Lincoln being driven by 33 year old Jeremy White from Cedar Bluff; there was also a passenger in the vehicle 19 year old Austin Hubbard, also of Cedar Bluff.

Reportedly – both individuals were air-lifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga for treatment – with choppers landing on the property of Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship on County Road 41.

No additional information regarding the current condition of either White or Hubbard has yet been made available; the accident report indicated that White was wearing his seat belt at the time of the wreck.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
