Two Cedar Bluff Residents Among Those Arrested On Drug Charges Over The Weekend In Fort Payne

Fort Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum says his department made several arrests over the weekend, seven for Possession of a Controlled Substance and two during traffic stops.

On Monday morning a traffic stop led to the arrest of Billy Michael McKinney, age 46 of Fort Payne, he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday, Erik Scott Trotman, age 34 of Fort Payne, at 10:19 pm officers checked him while walking and arrested him for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Chrystal Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Also on Sunday, at 12:04 pm, Brandy Leann Clifton, age 33 of Cedar Bluff was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with Two Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Prescription Drugs, they were listed as Gabapentine and Clonazepam, and Promoting Prison Contraband, she had in her mouth a taped package containing 6 other Gabapentine.

On Saturday, Samuel Alexander Easler, age 36 of Fort Payne was arrested at 2:00 am while sitting at Hawkins Spring Park when officers checked him. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Also, on Saturday, William Tony Walker, age 41 of Fort Payne, was arrested after suspicious activity was reported at the Alabama Walking Park at 11:50 pm.  Walker was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication and a Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.   

On Friday, at 3:02 pm Mallory Anjanette Orr, age 32 of Fort Payne, and Pamela Diane Abernathy, age 51 of Cedar Bluff, were arrested at a local business. Suspicious activity was reported at the business to officers and it was found that the two suspects had allegedly stored drugs in the restroom of the business. Orr was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Evidence and a Warrant for Outside Agency.  Abernathy was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Evidence.
