Two Centre residents were arrested on controlled substance charges during the early morning hours of Friday.

Nathan Levi Mayhall, age 37, and Shirley Elizabeth Green, age 45, were placed under arrest on the charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Green faces two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Both were booked into jail shortly before 2:30am with bond for Mayhall being set at $3,000 and bond for Green being set at $5,500.

Both currently remain jailed.
