Two Charged with Trafficking Heroin

Heroin 100Two East Gadsden residents were arrested on drug charges Wednesday.

Commander Rob Savage with the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit said both 35 year old Anthony Cornelius Foster, and 31 year old Jennifer Hudgins, were charged with Heroin Trafficking.

Foster also faces charges of drug possession and the possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon; Hudgins also faces an additional drug possession charge.

The pair was arrested at around 9:00am at a home on Richardson Street, following several weeks of investigation.

Drug agents executed a search warrant and found 30 grams of heroin along with quantities of marijuana, methamphetamine and Oxycodone in addition to a loaded handgun.

Both remain in the Etowah County Detention Center – with bond for Foster having been set at $66,000 while Hudgins is being held on bond of $62,000.
