Two DeKalb County Men Arrested For Farm Equipment & Cattle Theft

David Grant Fulmer and Eddie Ray FulmerTwo men have been arrested in connection with a recent theft of dozens of cattle and farm equipment in DeKalb County, Sheriff Jimmy Harris announced.

David Grant Fulmer, 28, of Collinsville, and Eddie Ray Fulmer, 31, of Albertville, were taken into custody Wednesday morning. The younger Fulmer is charged with two counts of first-degree theft of property in connection with the stolen cattle.

The elder Fulmer is charged with two counts of first-degree theft of property, third-degree receiving of stolen property and one count of promoting prison contraband.

Harris said Tuesday that more than 30 cows and calves were stolen between May 13 and 15 from a farm, where an additional three cows, nine calves and a tractor were reported stolen May 23 and 24. Some of the stolen property has been recovered, though, details were not released.

Both men are being held without bond in the DeKalb County Detention Center. Additional charges are pending.
