Two people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash just east of the 411 Bypass at approximately 9:35 Wednesday morning.
Both the driver of the vehicle, 60 year old Glenda Brock, and a passenger, Jennette Cox, age 68 – both from Horton, Alabama – were taken by ambulance to Cherokee Medical Center. Brock was then air-lifted from there to a Huntsville-area hospital for treatment.
Those responding included Centre Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
