Two Injured in Tuesday Afternoon Accident in Front of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre

 

The Centre Police Department report on the three vehicle wreck taking place early Tuesday afternoon in front of Gadsden State Cherokee has now been released.

That wreck involved a 2000 Buick LeSabre, being driven by 52 year old Mary Orr of a Cedar Bluff residence; a 2002 Ford Windstar driven by Kimberly Lee, age 39 from Gaylesville; and a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, being driven by 56 year old Karen Hill of Centre.  Both Orr and Lee were taken to Cherokee Medical Center by Cherokee EMS for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash; Hill was unhurt.

Centre Police and Firefighters, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, and Rescue Squad Personnel also responded to the scene.

The incident occurred just after 1:00pm on the Cedar Bluff Road.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
