Emergency crews responded to a two vehicle crash on the Piedmont Highway on Wednesday afternoon. That crash occurred near David’s Appliances.
The Centre Police and Fire Department along with Floyd EMS and Cherokee County EMA personnel responded to the scene.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The cause of the accident ins under investigation however, it was raining heavily at the time the crash occurred.
