An accident involving a motorcycle and a car at around 7:00 Wednesday evening in Oxford sent two people to the hospital.
The motorcyclist was air-lifted to a Birmingham area trauma center, suffering head injuries and the driver of the Honda Accord was carried to Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
That accident, which took place at the intersection of Friendship Road and McIntosh Road, remains under investigation.
