Leesburg Residents Are Charged With Breaking & Entering

Two Cherokee County residents have been arrested, and charged with, Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle.

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators made two arrests Thursday, in connection with a theft occurring in the Hopewell community.  Several stolen items were recovered, all of which had been taken from the victim’s vehicle.

39 year old Melissa Farr and 34 year old Brandy Jo Cobb both of Leesburg were arrested on charges of Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle, and Theft of Property 3rd Degree. 

Cobb was released shortly after 11:00am Tuesday meanwhile Farr remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
