A woman assaulted by two men had been put out of a vehicle after a fight with her boyfriend and was assaulted in a field.
They were captured by police early Thursday morning in the 2100 block of Rockmart Highway after running from police.
Detective Rusty Williams of the Floyd County Police Department said the woman first encountered the men around 9 p.m. while walking on Chateau Drive around 9 p.m.
She was not familiar with the area and had a conversation with them.
They eventually forced her into a field, where she was raped.
When police caught Langston, he was wearing all black clothes, had tools to commit a crime and an explosive device.
In addition to the rape charge, Langston was charged with possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession and carrying a concealed weapon without a license, possession of explosive devices, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, four counts of criminal trespass, prowling and two counts of obstruction.
Whatley is charged with four counts of criminal trespass, obstruction, prowling and a probation violation, along with the rape charge.
