Two People Injured In A Head-On Collision On Highway 411 North of Centre on Friday Afternoon

Two people were injured in a two car crash taking place just before 12:30 on Highway 411 North of Centre on Friday afternoon. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the accident involved a Hyundai passenger car driven by Pam Sayre and a Ford pickup truck driven by James Deaton. Both drivers were listed on the report as being injured in the accident.

That portion of Highway 411 near the Weiss Lake egg plant was shutdown for an extended period of time as crews worked to clear debris from the roadway. In addition to State Troopers, the Spring Creek Fire Department and Floyd EMS also responded to the scene.

That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
