Two Reportedly Killed in Etowah County Accident Monday Afternoon

According to a report by media outlet AL.COM, two people, including a 4-year-old boy, were killed Monday afternoon in a wreck in Etowah County.

Etowah County Coroner London Pearce reportedly told the Gadsden Times that 25 year old Clinton Don Mathis Jr. and the child were in vehicle that was in the process of crossing U.S. 411 at Appalachian Highway – when the vehicle was hit by a truck.

Mathis and the 4-year-old were both pronounced dead at the scene.
