Two Suspects Arrested In Connection To Several Burglaries In Calhoun & Talladega Counties

On Monday, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Deputies through the course of investigating several burglaries in the county’s jurisdiction were able to identify suspects in these cases. Deputies were able to locate the suspects, gather statements regarding their involvement, and in turn deputies made the following arrests.

Michael Demond Kirksey, a 26 year old black male from Oxford was arrested for Burglary in the 3rddegree.  Bond and court date to be set. Alphonzo Noreal Howard, a 19 year old black male of Oxford was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree (Bond:$3,000) and Resisting Arrest(Bond: $6,000). Howard’s court date has been set for November 21, 2017.

Deputies are continuing to work with other agencies in Calhoun and Talladega Counties to solve other burglaries and recover property that belonged to the victims in these cases.
