There was a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on Highway 9 near the State Docks between Centre and Cedar Bluff.
Traffic was blocked for only a brief period while crews cleared the scene – and according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, fortunately, both drivers – a resident of Rome, Georgia in a 2002 GMC and a Gadsden resident in a 2007 Ford – escaped injury.
Cedar Bluff police, members of the Centre fire department, Floyd EMS and state troopers all responded to the scene.
That wreck took place around 1:15pm.
