A former pastor at West Summerville Baptist Church, was killed in a two-vehicle wreck that took place Thursday morning in Floyd County, Georgia.
According to reports, 45 year old Lavonne Humphrey, the acting pastor at Calhoun Avenue Baptist Church was involved in that wreck around 9:00am on Highway 100 at Worsham Road between Summerville and Coosa.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation – it appears charges may be pending in this case.
