Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Highway 9, near Paradise Point Road, at approximately 11:55am Tuesday. That collision involved a log truck and a 2014 Honda – and, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the driver of the Honda, James Dodd of Cedar Bluff, was transported for treatment of injuries sustained in the mishap.
The driver of the 2003 Freightliner, Tommy Gee of DeArmanville, Alabama, was unhurt.
That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
