There was a two-vehicle accident occurring around 9:30 Wednesday morning, on the Chesnut Bypass in Centre near the Auto Superstore.
Early reports indicate that at least one person had to be extricated from their vehicle and there was at least one injury as a result of the collision.
Responding to the scene were Centre Police and Fire units – Cherokee County Rescue Squad personnel – and Floyd EMS.
