There was a two-vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 35 (Canyon Drive) near Oak Street in Gaylesville just prior to 2:00 Monday afternoon. Early reports indicated that no one was hurt in the wreck however an Alabama State Trooper working the crash later requested an ambulance to check one of the drivers who was reportedly placed under arrest at the scene.
Gaylesville Firefighters, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Floyd EMS responded to the scene. We will have additional information as soon as the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report is released.
