We had reports of a two vehicle accident occurring on the Chestnut Bypass near the Fishing Hole Restaurant in Centre just after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports one of the vehicles struck a light pole, breaking it in half. The Centre Police and Fire Department and Floyd EMS responded to the scene.
There were reports of multiple injuries but not additional details were immediately made available.
