There was a two vehicle accident taking place on Highway 9 north of Cedar Bluff at Victory Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Gaylesville Fire Department, Rescue Squad personnel and Floyd EMS responded to the scene.

One lane of traffic was blocked for an extended period of time while crews worked to clear the vehicles from the scene. 

Alabama State Troopers were also called to the scene.
