A two vehicle accident blocked a portion of Alabama Highway 9 near Dixie Pile Drivers in Cedar Bluff on Monday afternoon.
One of the vehicles was towing a gooseneck trailer; the other vehicle involved was a rollback wrecker truck towing two vehicles. According to reports, there was no damage to the wrecker or the vehicles in tow.
The roadway was shut down for an extended period of time as crews worked to clear the wreckage from the scene.
Cedar Bluff Fire, Cherokee EMS and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene. We will have additional details as soon as the accident report has been complete.
