A single vehicle accident occurred just after 7:00 a.m. Saturday. According to reports, that vehicle struck a power pole resulting in a power outage in the area of County Road 61.
Reports from the scene stated that the occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
The Leesburg Fire Department, Floyd EMS Medics, Rescue Squad personnel, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene.
