Floyd County Man Charged with Stealing from Wal-Mart Stores

Wal-Mart Bust 1A man accused of walking out of Floyd County Wal-Mart stores three times, without paying for thousands of dollars of merchandise, is now behind bars.

According to warrants at the Floyd County Jail, 25 year old James D’Amato Baltimore of 305 Reynolds Street walked out of the Wal-Mart on the Cartersville Highway, back on July 22nd, with a cart full of items valued at more than fifteen hundred dollars.

Then on August 14th he allegedly did the same thing at the Redmond Circle store – this time getting away with more than thirty-three hundred dollars worth of items.

Baltimore is also accused of going back to the Cartersville Highway store on September 5th, and taking out tablet cases and power tools valued at nineteen hundred dollars.

Baltimore stands charged with three counts of felony shoplifting and two counts of criminal trespass because he had been banned from the stores, according to the warrants.

He is also being held on two probation violations.
