Cherokee County High School junior running back Damien Ramsey stopped by the WEIS studio on Friday afternoon for the presentation of his 2020 All-Cherokee County Offensive Most Valuable Player plaque. Presenting Ramsey with the plaque is WEIS Radio Sports Director Shannon Fagan.

Ramsey ran for 1,217 yards and 14 touchdowns on 192 carries. He also caught 12 passes for 125 yards and another score in helping the Warriors (7-4) earn a Class 4A state playoff berth last season.

Congratulations Damien from the staff here at WEIS Radio. Special thanks to Jason Howard at Rock Run Awards for designing and providing the all-county awards.

Fagan will be presenting two more all-county MVP honors on Monday evening at Spring Garden to Panther senior linebacker Luke Welsh and Panther senior volleyball outside hitter Haleigh Molock.
