A Saint Clair County woman is dead as a result of last night’s severe weather storms. According to the Saint Clair County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to a call about a tree falling on a home on Highway 231 near the Pell City area.
Once on the scene, emergency personnel discovered 42-year-old Monica Clements was killed when the tree fell in the area of the home where she was located. Clements’ 10 year old son was home at the time of the incident and sustained minor injuries.
