WEIS Radio Disaster Relief Fund Activated To Assist In The Wake Of Hurricane Sally

At the request of Cherokee County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Director Shawn Rogers, we have activated the WEIS Radio Disaster Relief Fund to assist those that have been affected by Hurricane Sally on Alabama’s Gulf Coast.

Director Rogers was deployed earlier last week to the Baldwin County Emergency Operations Center to assist with recovery efforts.

Donations may be made by cash or through check, credit or debit card – and are currently being accepted at the WEIS Radio Studios 477 South Pratt Street in Centre – during regular business hours Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm OR simply by calling (256) 927-5152 or (256) 927-4232. You can mail checks or donations to P.O. Box 297 Centre, Al 35960. Make the checks payable to the WEIS Radio Disaster Relief Fund

No amount is too great or too small.

“We are here to let the people of Alabama know we are using every available asset and resource at the state level to support you in recovery and to assure you that we will be there for you as, together,  we start rebuilding our homes, businesses and communities over the coming days, weeks and months.”Gov.
