WEIS Radio’s Kurt Duryea was in the studio Monday morning to discuss the “tip-off” for the upcoming basketball season in Cherokee County.
His special guests were Cherokee County High School basketball coaches, Neal Wester and Leah Montieth Goss – who discussed what the season potentially holds in store for the boys and girls team respectively – and that included replacing starters who contributed so much to the overall performance of each team, the county tournament, coaching techniques and fostering the spirit of teamwork and developing drive and determination to be the best you can possibly be – both on and off the court.
