The Alabama Broadcasters Association presented its ninth annual Best in Broadcasting Awards, otherwise known as the ABBYs, on Saturday, at the Hyatt Regency Wynfrey Hotel Conference Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Representatives from radio and television stations across the state attended the gala.

For the 2nd time since 2012 WEIS Radio was honored with the Alabama Broadcasters Associations Best in Broadcasting for Small Market Website.

Assistant News Director Joey Weaver, General Manager Jerry Baker and Assistant General Manager Shelia Richardson attended the ceremony – Joey accepted the award on behalf of News Director Marc Summers and IT Supervisor Andrew Hughes.
