You can get a new kind of workout on in Cherokee County at the business of a recent Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting honoree.

Weiss Lake CrossFit, located at 200 Plaza Drive in Centre behind Odyssey Health Spa & Fitness, offers a “No Judgement, Only Encouragement” work out location designed to challenge people to reach their full potential. Eva Garner, the owner of Weiss Lake CrossFit, and head trainer Jessica Haney took the opportunity during the busy event with the Chamber to speak with us. Jessica hit one of the big key points for what she and Eva want to accomplish, and that is creating a family dynamic for their program.

The staff at Weiss Lake CrossFit encourages anyone, no matter what shape, size, fitness experience, or other hindrances you think you might have, to come out and give CrossFit a try. Their program is put into place where everyone is doing the same workout, but for those new to it will have the intensity catered to them.

The CrossFit gym is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm; Fridays from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm; and Saturdays from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
