“Well, thanks for being honest…”

According to the report released earlier this week by the Summerville Police Department, a woman admitted to taking illegal drugs before she fell from a moving vehicle.  The incident happened on Highway 48 in Summerville around 8:00 on New Year’s Eve.  The officers responded to a residence located on Selman Drive, where they met with 37 year old Kerri Evans who was suffering lacerations and an injured left knee.

Evans told officers that she had “taken LSD and pills” prior to falling out of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Johnathan Walker, told the officers that the incident happened near the chert pit on Highway 48, saying that when Evans fell from the vehicle he jumped out to help her back into the vehicle and drove her to his mother’s house, where he called police.

Evans was transported by Redmond EMS to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.
