Charges have now been filed against a woman who shot her husband during an altercation taking place in the early morning hours of last Friday (December 27th) in Albertville.

Police responded to a mobile home at around 6:30 that morning where it appeared that a man and a woman had shot each other.

45 year old Susan Shaw has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting – her husband, Scott Shaw, had to be air-lifted from the scene – both remain hospitalized, as they continue to recover from their wounds.

Scott Shaw was reportedly shot three times and remains in Huntsville Hospital, meanwhile Susan Shaw is recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg at Marshall Medical Center.

It remains unclear what prompted the disagreement between the two.
