William Ronald (Ronnie) Edwards, age 64 of Madison passed away July 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father William (Bud) Edwards, and his brother John Edwards. He is survived by his mother Sara C. Edwards, wife Kathy Edwards, children Nichole (Harley) Davidson, and Kaylie Edwards. Grandchildren Madelyn and Brenley Davidson. Sister-in-law Carolyn Bagwell, and Angel (Jimmy) Bryant. Many cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved very dearly.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Sunday July 14th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating; burial will follow in Collinsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M Saturday July 13th a Perry Funeral Home.
Ronnie graduated from Collinsville High School in 1973. He retired from Boeing after 36 years of service. Following retirement Ronnie returned to his hometown of Collinsville, AL. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. They were the apple of his eye. They made his life complete by being the husband, dad, and Pops to his most favorite people. Ronnie enjoyed Alabama football, Talladega racing, and fishing.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Briener, Gill Hartman, and Joel Timms, Rich Lyness, Troy Manning, and Roger Bridges. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to https://kenyarelief.org/donate. (Note: Team 19 for Nichole Davidson). Ronnie’s daughter, Nichole, will be going on a mission trip in October. He was very proud of her first mission trip and we know he would want to continue contributing to her continuing efforts.
