A Chattooga County woman has been arrested for growing marijuana outside her home.
According to Sheriff Mark Schrader, and Agents of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Task Force, 41 year old Stacey Renee Laney of a Jenkins Gap Road address – was placed under arrest after drug agents found four marijuana plants – each about eight feet tall – approximately 25 feet from her back door.
Laney was charged with two counts of Purchase/Possession/Sale/Manufacturing/Distributing of Marijuana.
She was later released on $50,000 bond.
