Woman Arrested on Child Sex Abuse Charges in Chattooga County, Georgia

A woman has been arrested by the Chattooga County, Georgia Sheriff’s Office on charges of Child Sex Abuse in Mississippi, and authorities there are saying that the case is linked to the investigation of a Chattooga County man arrested in Mississippi.

Elizabeth Naomi Taylor 34 of Eaton, Georgia was taken into custody last week by Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office investigators – and currently faces nine counts of felony Child Abuse and two counts of Sexual Battery.

Lee County, Mississippi Sheriff’s investigators stated that more than one child is involved in the charges against Taylor.  They added that Taylor’s arrest stemmed from an investigation into Jamey Burrage who was arrested in Lee County, Mississippi for Child Molestation.

According to local authorities in Chattooga County, Burrage has maintained homes in both Chattooga County and in Lee County, Mississippi.   Mississippi officials say that Taylor is the live-in girlfriend of Burrage.

Also, law enforcement in Lee County say that other Mississippi counties may bring charges against the couple.
