Woman Charged with Using False Name During Traffic Stop

A Chattooga County, Georgia woman is facing charges in Floyd County after police there say she used the name of another person during a traffic stop.

Authorities say 25 year old Mary Danielle Kellar was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday of this week after being charged with a felony count of giving a false statement and a felony count of first-degree forgery.

Police state she forged the signature of another woman on two traffic citations she received on Christmas Eve on North Broad Street in Rome. Kellar was also charged with obstruction of officers and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
