23 year old Amberia Nicole Smith of Rome is now behind bars in Floyd County – where she faces several counts of fraud.
Smith was wanted in connection with a robbery, taking place on the bike trail near Turner-McCall Boulevard.
The victim told police that a woman had taken his wallet – which contained a small amount of cash, an ID, a work permit and a Wells Fargo bank card.
Smith was captured on surveillance video over the following days, using the stolen card at a number of locations, including Arby’s, Kroger, Wal-Mart, CVS and at a Kangaroo Express, in addition to a number of ATM’s.
She was arrested on Tuesday night, and charged with eight counts of Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
