Woman Involved in Rome Wreck Wanted on Failure to Appear Charges

FCSO - HensonA woman involved in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning on Rockmart Road in Rome, is now behind bars –and is apparently wanted in Bartow County on a failure to appear warrant.

According to PFC Mike Simmons of the Rome Police Department a Toyota Corolla being driven by Stacie Henson of Cedartown, crossed the yellow line while traveling northbound, and collided with a Nissan SUV, driven by Jane Costlow of an Aragon address; the SUV travel more than 100 feet from the point of impact before losing control and crashing into a ditch.

Rome firefighters had to cut Costlow from the wreckage, however she appeared to be unhurt and refused treatment, saying she was only shaken up; Henson also escaped injury.

Floyd County Jail records indicated that Henson was booked into jail on the charges of Failure to Maintain a Single Lane and Driving on a Suspended License.
