Woman Robbed at Gunpoint Later Receives Death Threats

According to information in a news release from Gadsden Police Captain Bobby Jackson a report was made June 28th, by a 29 year old woman stating that she’d been robbed at gunpoint in South Gadsden, at around 11:00 the night before.

The victim stated she was in a vehicle with two acquaintances that had given her a ride to an area near South 11th Street and Broadway and as soon as they arrived at the location the male suspect pulled a gun and demanded money – with the female suspect then reportedly taking $30 from the victim before telling her to get out of the vehicle.

The woman told police that she hadn’t been worried about the loss of the money, but she became concerned about a series of text messages containing death threats from those two suspects in the wake of the incident.

The investigation into the matter is on-going.
