UPDATE|VEHICLE HAS BEEN RECOVERED| Work Truck Reportedly Stolen from Piedmont Raceway Early Monday Morning

We had reports of a stolen vehicle, taken from the Raceway convenience store on Highway 278 in Piedmont at around 6:30am Monday.

The 2011 model four door, one-ton Dodge work truck was parked at the store –when a red mustang pulled up and the passenger got out of the car – climbed behind the wheel of the truck and drove away.

The work truck belonged to Jamie Pruitt Logging, is white in color with a black steel metal utility bed and a Calhoun County tag beginning with the number “11”; that truck was last seen traveling east on 278.
