Syrian American Medical Society(ALEPPO, Syria) — As bloody images continue to surface from the destruction in Aleppo, Syria, a new heart-breaking video shows one traumatized toddler who wouldn’t let go of the nurse treating his injuries.
In the video from the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) hospital in Aleppo, the crying boy, who is bleeding from his head and has clothes covered in dust, hugs the nurse and doesn’t let go.
When the nurse tries to pull away, the boy wraps his arms around the nurse’s neck.
SAMS posted the video in a tweet Friday saying, “A heartbreaking video of a traumatized toddler at a SAMS hospital in #Aleppo. The baby boy wouldn’t let go of the nurse who was treating him”
