Yet Another “Bogus Bill” Turns up in Northwest Georgia

lucky'sFunny money has once again turned up in Chattooga County, Georgia – this time at a Menlo -area supermarket.

Late last week the manager of Lucky’s Supermarket reported to authorities that one of the clerks had received a counterfeit $10 bill sometime Wednesday; she noticed the odd bill while counting out the cash drawer the following day saying the bogus bill was “blurry” and slightly smaller than usual.

Over the past several months, more and more of the counterfeit bills have been turning up across the northwest Georgia area; they are usually printed in smaller denominations in an apparent attempt to go unnoticed.
