You Decide|Election 2014

YouDecide2014Tuesday is Election Day across Cherokee County and the State of Alabama – with the polls being open until 7:00pm and WEIS Radio News will provide coverage of the results as they are available live from the Cherokee County Courthouse.

In the race for Cherokee County District Court Judge, Cherokee County Assistant District Attorney Wes Mobley will face the Incumbent Judge Sheri Carver.

Incumbent Johnny Roberts will be taking on Dustin St. Clair in the race for Cherokee County Revenue Commissioner;

In the Race for Cherokee County Commission District 2 the Incumbent Kimball Parker is being opposed by Troy Patterson – and In District 4 Carlton “Bubba” Teague is running unopposed.

Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver is also running unopposed – along with Dr. Jeremy Deaton who is running unopposed in the race for Cherokee County Coroner.

In the race for Board of Education Place #5 the Democrat Lanny Starr will face Republican Brian Jennings both whom are newcomers to the seat.

For State Senate District 10, current State Senator Phil Williams will be opposed by former State Senator Larry Means.

And State Representative Richard Lindsey will be facing Heath Jones.
